Between 1991 -1995 Worked during school summer holidays at Printing press and Publishing houses in Damascus Syria .
● Introduced to all types of printing press.
● Got introduced and interested in the proses of book design and book layout.
Between 1995 -1997 Worked with deferent advertising agencies and design office as graphic designer and had a personal screen printing equipment at my fathers factory where I used to do some printing jobs mostly on gift items.
In 1997 I founded my own design office in Damascus called Spectrum we had some good Syrian clients like: American Language Center, British Council, UAS International Trip Support, RC cola, and more. I was also teaching Graphic design is some institutes.
Moved to Dubai in 2000 to get more knowledge about graphic design and the Advertising word, I worked in Fortune Promoseven (FP7) what was then the biggest Advertising Agency in the Meddle East. Started as a Graphic Designer and promoted in the 1st year to an Arabic Art Director, worked in big international brands like McDonalds, BMW, NIVEA, RakBank, BankMuscat, Standard Chartered, and Emaar.
I had to resign from FP7 to study in the American University in Sharjah (AUS) it was a post graduate professional certificate in Multimedia and design where we studded in 2 years 2dand 3d design, Web design, Animation, Photography, and Branding I was graduated in 2007.
During my study I was freelancing graphic design mainly for Promoseven clients and some direct clients like CrownPlaza Hotel, UAS International Trip Support, BMW and others.
After graduating I had good business from freelance so I founded a small advertising agency (AdForce1) with 3 employees in Dubai and 12 in Damascus Syria, with a plan to make it big in Syria and for me to move back and settle in Syria, We had some good clients from Syria and clients base in Dubai kept growing my clients was mostly Advertising Agencies that need our support in Arabic so we worked on the Arabic branding and advertising on NIVEA (ME website) Samsung (Arabic Website) Intercontinental Hotel, IHG, Abu Dhabi Book fair, we also was part of lunching some big brands like: NAJM Card, Dubai Mall, SEGA Republic, Souk Bahar,…
In Adforce1 I was Managing Director but I had my hands on working with my team sometimes as graphic designer sometimes as Arabic Copywriter and sometimes as client service. This project had to stop when Syria starts having problems and I was offered a job I could not reject that is Creative Products Manager (MENA) for WinSoft International (taking care of Adobe Creative Products) working hand in hands with Adobe ME to Manage, Promote, and sell Adobe Creative products plus some other Winsoft products related to Arabic Typography solution, During my work with Winsoft International I had the chance to visit all Arabic countries in the MENA region showing these creative products and doing workshops in Universities, Advertising Agencies, and Direct clients and I had the chance to develop with Winsoft Provisional programing team the 1st Digital Arabic Calligraphy tool on the web (eMashq) and I’m still the evangelist for tool and for (Tasmeem) until now.
When WinSoft Desided to close the office in Dubai I was giving the chance to be relocated to Tunisia but I wanted to stay in Dubai.
I continued my work as Freelancer with much more knowledge on marketing and sales and of course software related to Arabic.
In 2013 I was offered a job in UAS International Trip Support, that job was to create an in-house Creative/Communication/Marketing department, I took it and started in 1st of Jan 2013, in these 3 years I helped creating the Global Marketing department with long term and short term marketing strategies.
